About CAPPA certificationAre you drawn to the idea of supporting families on their journey to parenthood? Do you wish to join an organization that will train you to provide the best of professional support to your future clients and support you as you build your business? The decision about which organization to choose for your certification is an important one. I came to CAPPA with several years of childbirth educator and doula work under my belt and a deep commitment to the highest standards of service and integrity. CAPPA continues to impress me on both fronts, again and again. Check out CAPPA's certification process.

About the trainerIt is the most sacred of honors to be invited into the lives of a family as they plan their births and have their baby. The responsibility for training the next generation of childbirth educators and doulas who will be given that sacred honor is awesome, astounding, and exciting beyond words! I am delighted to present to you the comprehensive CAPPA training curriculum and to enhance my workshops with my background in training and development and my years of years of training expectant couples in childbirth classes I designed, along with my experience as a doula in hospitals, homes and birth centers (and once in a grocery store parking lot). I am very proud to be the Senior Advisor for CAPPA's labor doula training programs.
